This is exactly why we've gathered a quick list of 5 new mobile games you should try this week, from undiscovered indie gems to high-profile AAA masterpieces.
By the way, if you've got an unquenchable thirst for curated games you can obsess over each week, be sure to check out our NEW WEEKLY MOBILE GAMES hub, or join our lively community on Twitter or Discord.
Let's get on with it!
1
DC Worlds Collide

If you've ever fantasised about having the entire Justice League at your beck and call, now's your chance. DC Worlds Collide is an action-packed squad RPG where you'll recruit both heroes and villains to battle against the Crime Syndicate, who, of course, are up to no good again.
As you fight to restore peace across this colourful RPG, you'll also need to strategise the best tactics and team synergies to win - and if that means pairing the World's Finest with Lex Luthor, then so be it. The idle elements keep the hardcore grind at bay though, so you can look forward to saving the world even when you're offline.

2
Rogue Slime

What is it about slime that's equal parts gross and incredibly adorable at the same time? While there's no shortage of slime-based games on mobile, this one takes things up a notch by thrusting you into a roguelike world as the titular slimy hero, topped with vibrant visuals and super cute enemies to make the journey even more enjoyable.
In Rogue Slime, you'll face a variety of procedurally generated foes using energy-based skills with randomised buffs you can power up with. You'll also get to upgrade your town to boost gear, with over 400 items to unlock and more than 50 randomised events you'll stumble upon along the way. You can even duke it out with other slimes in PvP to prove you're the slimiest hero in all the land.

3
True Fear 3

If you love creepy charcoal drawings, abandoned merry-go-rounds, and flickering lights that never seem to work when you need them most, True Fear 3 might just be your cup of tea. This psychological horror will have you pointing and clicking at the things that go bump in the night, rounding up the trilogy with this chilling final chapter.
As Holly Stonehouse, you'll unravel the mysteries surrounding your cursed lineage, with cinematic cutscenes that up the ante along with challenging puzzles to solve too. And just in case the jump scares prove to be too much for you, you can ease up on the puzzles with three difficulty modes: casual, advanced or expert. Holly deserves a little help with everything she's been through, after all!

mo.co
Say goodbye to the FOMO for mo.co as Supercell's monster-hunting adventure is now available to play for aspiring monster hunters across the globe.
While you previously needed an invite to access the multiplayer madness, anyone can now play the game despite it not being the "official" launch just yet. Supercell's statement makes it clear that they're still making tweaks, but the important thing is that you can kickstart your adventure today, whether on iOS or Android - no fancy barriers to entry required. So if you're ready to take on monsters with or against your friends, mo.co is a colourful and chaotic place to start!

5
Angry Birds Bounce

There's never going to be an end to furious fowl vowing vengeance on pudgy piggies, is there? Red, Chuck, and Bomb are back on mobile with a block-breaking twist in Angry Birds Bounce, out now on Apple Arcade.
This skill-based arcade game will have you aiming and launching your favourite angry avians while stringing together devastating combos as you bounce around grid-based levels. Roguelite elements will spice up each stage, so you'd best strategise those skills to deal the most damage and aim for the highest score!
