SNO Snow White

Available on: iOS + Android

SNO Snow White

If you're thinking this is a run-of-the-mill princess-themed dress-up game based on the title alone, it's definitely anything but. The oddly titled SNO Snow White is, in fact, an action-packed Metroidvania that puts you in the shoes of the hero of an AI War, and as you try to make sense of the sci-fi world around you, you'll get to shift perspectives to solve puzzles along the way.

This means you can switch from 2D platforming action to 3D puzzle-solving to discover new paths, unlock hidden secrets, and unravel the main narrative - all 20 hours of it. And with its mobile-optimised UI and its striking low-poly visual style, you might just decide that 20 hours of Snow White isn't nearly enough.

Shiro's Kitchen Cruise

How often do you get cooking sims on mobile that let you run your own restaurant based on real life? Given that Shiro's Kitchen Cruise was created in collaboration with the Singapore-based Omote restaurant's chefs, this charming new culinary adventure is indeed the real deal.

As you work to rebuild a cruise ship kitchen - as an adorable bear, by the way - you'll also get to whip up dishes based on Omote's real-world recipes. Decorate and prettify your restaurant to attract more clients, but beware - not all of them will be pleasant. Fret not, though - with customers like Lana Del Ray and a "no flight risk" penguin named Snowball with a penchant for tipping, it's all good!

Merge Maestro

Available on: iOS + Android + Steam

Merge Maestro

Tap tokens and merge them to defeat your foes in Merge Maestro, a minimalist merge puzzler with hundreds of synergies and combinations you can tinker around with. The visuals might look simple, but the strategic depth here is anything but.

The roguelike elements keep things spicy across six difficulty levels. The tokens themselves offer interesting skills too - who would've thought that an Oregano could have 3 Attack or that a Broomstick could give you +1 Multistrike?

Raising Reincarnated SwordMage

Revenge is indeed a dish best served cold, and in Raising Reincarnated Swordmage, you'll do just that as the titular swordswoman who's come back from the dead. While this might seem like your average idle RPG, it actually boasts 64 chapters of story-driven quests, so if you're on the hunt for auto-battles with a side of betrayal, this might just be your cup of tea.

Face off against former allies on your journey to defeat the Demon King, with tactical combat and a variety of physical, magical, support, and passive skills to maximise in battle. You can also boost your stats as you progress, not to mention unlock cool skins along the way to exact your vengeance in style.

Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game

Now, you'll be needing a Netflix subscription for this one, but if you're a fan of Zack Snyder's sci-fi world and you're keen on embracing your rebellious nature, Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game might just be worth signing up for. This action-packed online multiplayer will have you rising up against the Motherworld across thrilling combat missions, with four rebel classes to choose from and a variety of ways you can take down the Imperium.

As you progress through this mix of twin-stick shooter elements and RPG customisation, you can clear missions solo or team up with other fighters before venturing out into the planet of Krypt. Plus, it offers gamepad support too so you can truly enjoy Super Evil Megacorp's new creation on mobile.
