Bleach: Brave Souls announces Bankai Live! 10th anniversary livestream

• Bleach: Brave Souls 10th anniversary Bankai Live! is right around the corner
• The celebratory livestream will feature appearances from the anime VAs
• We'll also get our first look at new content coming to Brave Souls

With its continued milestone-hitting and tie-ins to the current airing of the Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War arc, it's no surprise that Brave Souls is eager to celebrate. And fans wanting to tune in to join in, as well as find out more about coming additions to the hit 3D brawler, can check in on the upcoming Bankai Live! livestream coming July 20th.

Airing at 16:30 (UTC+9), the Bankai Live! streams will be familiar to longtime fans of Bleach: Brave Souls. Offering special appearances from the original voice actors in the anime (such as those behind characters such as Ichigo, Chad, Rukia and Byakuya!), this stream will offer previews of upcoming additions to Brave Souls.

This includes the return of co-op in the form of the Brave Souls Cards mode, which you'll be able to see a test play of. Accompanying that will be breaking news from Ambassador Morita, no doubt related to what we can expect from Brave Souls throughout 2025.

Bankai swinging

I don't think there's anything I haven't already said about Bleach: Brave Souls jumping back into the limelight. How it relates to the anime, how it shows Bleach is once more becoming popular, and so on.

But I think this livestream will be exciting because it offers tantalising promises of some upcoming additions and changes. Bleach: Brave Souls is undoubtedly showing its age, so I wouldn't be surprised if the 10th anniversary is the right time for some major overhauls, new modes and content that's sure to keep it going for many years more.
