Eterspire launches the next instalment of its main quest line
|
| Eterspire
  • Eterspire is releasing a brand-new instalment in its main questline
  • The update comes alongside two new maps and major reworks to the starting areas
  • Fans can expect even more coming as part of the ongoing Eterspire roadmap

One of the more difficult things to manage in an MMORPG is the main questline. Because yes, while to observers it may seem like an impenetrable mess of sidequests and activities, the main quest of any good MMO is usually the core appeal. So it's doubly impressive to see indie MMORPG Eterspire so quickly release a new instalment of its own main quest!

Those of you already playing Eterspire will recall that the last instalment of the main quest was released earlier this year, on January 28th. And starting today, you'll be able to jump into the next section of the main story, with the promise of an exciting climax!

But those of you who aren't interested (for some reason) in diving into the main story can still check out two new maps in the form of Gloomy Isle and Gloomy Cave. While Whitespeckle Plains and Deep Forest are both set to receive major overhauls!

Spire high

Considering this is coming hot off the heels of the Isle of Mist update, I think this latest instalment of the main quest will be a sign of things going well for fans. Especially with the ongoing roadmap of new content coming over the next few months.

It's also particularly noteworthy that there's been a relatively quick turnaround on this new instalment, considering that Eterspire comes from an indie team. Major expansions can often take months for larger releases, so the fact that developer Stonehollow Workshop has kept these free updates going is a good sign.

And if Eterspire has given you a taste for the wide open, action-packed world of massively multiplayer RPGs, why not see what else there is to feed that hunger? We've collated our own list of the top mobile games like World of Warcraft to offer the best-in-class for MMO on phones.
