Fans of Pokémon who are looking forward to some great events this summer, including Pokémon Go-ing on the road, and the upcoming debut of Ultra Beasts in TCG Pocket, can also enjoy the latest Mass Outbreak event featuring Metal types! And on offer is one of the more recent additions to the roster.
Yes, Solgaleo is in the starring role for this event, as well as other Metal-type Pokémon who'll be making more frequent appearances in Rare and Bonus picks. You'll also be able to add additional flair to your acquired cards.
Not only that, but keep your eyes out for special themed missions which will reward you with shop tickets, available for Wonder Picking or otherwise obtaining certain cards during the event. All the details will be located on your mission screen and provide plenty of ways to grab some cards during the event.
The opportunity to nab some great Metal-type cards, and to get something as recently released as Solgaleo (who debuted in the Celestial Guardians expansion). And while there are still issues with trading, the Mass Outbreak events provide an acceptable alternative to get your hands on the cards you need.
Of course, this might also be because TCG Pocket is facing some stiff competition for players' attentions this summer! The Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and Duel Links WCS Qualifiers are taking place soon, and could see many digital trading card fans make a quick leap over to play. So hopefully, the upcoming Ultra Beasts and Mass Outbreak events like this will sway them to stick around.
