Studio Lico has launched the global version of Mythic Item Obtained: Idle RPG, now available in North America, Japan, and Taiwan. Following its successful debut in Korea earlier this year, the mobile RPG, based on the popular webnovel and webtoon adaptation, brings its mix of idle mechanics and flashy action to a wider audience.
In Mythic Item Obtained, you step into the role of Jaehyeon Min, a low-ranked raider whose luck flips when he soulbonds with a legendary mythic item. From there, the story kicks off with reincarnation, divine trials, and your journey to become the Defiant One destined to challenge Odin himself. You’ll find original characters appear throughout the campaign in fast-paced battles.
Despite its idle core, the RPG doesn’t skimp on tactical play. You’ll equip mythic gear, unlock and register powerful passive skills like Thunder God's Strength, and build out a personalised tech tree using the Absolute Calculation system. Hundreds of rune combinations and team synergies open the door for deeper dungeon strategies, even as it auto-grinds for you.
The Korean version of Mythic Item Obtained was released on March 26th, and since then, it has remained in the limelight, topping app store charts and earning a 4.6-star rating thanks to consistent updates.
