Magical Ink guide - 5 tips for your favourite fairy tale
If all you want in life is to progress quickly and unlock fairies, get new outfits, and make your character stand out, this cosy game is likely for you. To help out, I've created a complete Magical Ink guide, so you can learn all the tips you need to level up and unlock everything quickly.
Magical Ink is one of those cosy games that seem super F2P-friendly, which is exactly what you want if you're just looking to kill some time and explore an adorable, colourful, chibi world.
You will meet new fairies, clear the camp of all the trees, rocks, and debris, and decorate it to your heart's content. As you complete more missions, you will be able to access new areas, and with them, unlock new unique perks. All you have to do is complete missions, farm, and enjoy the overall chill vibe and cutesy music.

As you level up, you'll get access to new decor themes, which will fill your time almost daily, just like in Cookie Run: Kingdom, in a way! The Magical Ink tips I shared in this guide will help you understand what you should do every day and how you can level up your account quicker, so you will be able to unlock those adorable decor themes.Not only that, I will also share how you should spend your Crystals and how you can get more freebies. The freebies are always welcome, right?

Tip #1 - Complete as many missions as you can to level up quickly
The fairies will give you a lot of missions, on top of your main mission. I recommend you try to complete as many of them as you can, because the EXP they grant adds up. It will help you level up a lot faster than if you were to only complete the main missions.
If your goal is to complete everything as quickly as possible and unlock all the possible decors and outfits, you should try to collect as many resources as you can. These are used in side quests as well as the main quests.
Complete wishes at the Wish Board
At the Wish Board, which is one of the first features you unlock during the tutorial, you will be able to complete up to 40 wishes daily and, in return, get a total of 80 Crystals.On top of the Crystals, you will also get EXP and Gold for each wish you complete, so that will also help you level up faster. Consider it one of your daily tasks.

Tip #2 - Watch ads to get lots of free rewards
If you want to get lots of free resources daily, you don't have to do much. You don't have to do anything, actually, just start playing ads. There is this amazing option in the Cash Shop that lets you claim pretty much every resource you need (from Eggs, to Honey, Branches, Hearts, Crystals and Dungeon Keys).
You can find this in the Cash Shop> Ad Shop (last tab), and I strongly recommend you claim all of these rewards. Basically, you can watch 3 ads/item, so you can receive the rewards 3 times. That's a lot of free rewards, and you don't have to lift a finger.
The rewards you can get from this are:
- Crystals x30
- Heart x100
- Gold x50,000
- Pebble x30
- Dungeon Key x20
- Branch x30
- Boulder x30
- Log x30
- Herb x30
- Milk x30
- Egg x30
- Honey x30
- Gelatin x30
Since you can get the rewards 3 times, you will have to watch ads 3 times for each of the items, which is a total of 39 ads - that will take some time (about 20-30 minutes), but it's worth it if you want to complete all the wishes without bothering too much with collecting items.

Tip #3 - Upgrade your Temple of Slumbering Dreams
When you go to the Menu> Decoration Shop> Theme, you can find a complete list of decor items and their theme. I suggest you start buying every theme (everything), so you can upgrade the Temple of Slumbering Dreams as fast as possible.
You can access the Temple near the entrance (on top of the Wish Board), and there you will notice that you need to collect Knowledge (the books) to upgrade its level.
You can upgrade this temple by collecting unique items. The first thing I recommend you do is buy all the items from a decor theme by hitting the Buy All button. That will speed things up quite a bit. Later on, when you're decorating, you can buy dupes of an item, but until then, just purchase them once.
The same applies to outfits. Buy the items from a theme, so you can add them to the collection.

Tip #4 - What to spend your Crystals on?
If you really want to spend your Crystals on something, there are two ways you can go about it: the practical way or the freestyle way, as I like to call it.
The practical way of spending your Crystals is to expand your Craft Slots, which is quite costly. This will let you craft more recipes at the cooking station and other facilities. The freestyle way is spending them on decorations, outfits, dyes, and everything else that won't really have any effect on your gameplay.
Decide how you want to spend them, because as a F2P player, the Crystals are a pretty scarce resource, so you might want to consider saving them. I wouldn't say no to buying a dye or two to level up your character's looks, though!
You can also spend the Crystals in the outfit/decor gacha, but that will be pretty expensive.

Tip #5 - More Magical Ink tips and tricks
There are many more little tips I'd like to share about the game, so I will add them to a list below:
- Consider staying online for 2h to claim all the Login Rewards - you need to spend a total of 2h in-game for all of them.
- You can quickly plant something by dragging and hovering over the plot of land where you want to plant it (strawberries, wheat, apples, anything).
- Consider adding more slots to your Bag before anything else - it will cost 100 Crystals per 5 slots, and you will need quite a few, the more you play.
- Toggle the Normal Mode/Flat Mode button on top of the Menu when you want to pick up items and they're hidden among your buildings.
- Complete your beginner missions (Start Dash) to receive a cool, unique outfit.
- Watch 3 ads to pull 3 times for free from the heart gacha.
